Lacey Fire District 3 Vehicle Repair Facility

Designed to serve nearly 200 emergency vehicles across multiple fire districts, the new Lacey Vehicle Repair Facility expands the region’s ability to maintain and service a diverse fleet—including tiller trucks, brush rigs, and other specialized apparatus.

This one-story, 4,360-square-foot facility is an extension of the existing Station 34 campus, adding four new repair bays, an office, storage space, and restroom facilities for vehicle repair staff. Built as a pre-engineered metal structure, the facility was designed for efficiency, durability, and long-term adaptability.

Large windows and a sloped roof maintain sightlines to preserved oak trees, integrating biophilic design principles that support occupant well-being. Site upgrades include new underground utilities and expanded stormwater management, ensuring resilient infrastructure for years to come.
