Eagles Wings Coordinated Care

Eagles Wings Coordinated Care is reimagining a former community church in Bremerton into a place of safety, stability, and connection for individuals living with mental health challenges and chemical dependency. The 7,000-square-foot building, with two full floors and a balcony, is being thoughtfully renovated to provide both immediate shelter and long-term pathways of support. The former sanctuary will be adapted into congregate sleeping quarters, while the lower level will feature a full commercial kitchen—serving not only as a source of nutritious meals but also as a platform for job training and skill development.

At the heart of the project is a community gathering hall, designed as a flexible dining and social space that encourages interaction and belonging. The space is enlivened by murals created by local artists, reinforcing the role of art and culture in healing and community building. Additional amenities include laundry and shower facilities, potential respite care, and administrative and medical offices that will support counseling, case management, and basic health services on-site.

More than a renovation, this project represents a transformation—shaping an architectural framework that supports dignity, resilience, and reintegration. By combining housing with holistic care and community, Eagles Wings is creating an environment where Bremerton’s most vulnerable residents can not only find shelter, but also the tools and connections they need to thrive.
