McKay Healthcare

Originally built in 1938 as a Veterans Hospital, McKay Healthcare has been a cornerstone of the Soap Lake community for nearly a century. With a rich history rooted in healing, the facility has long provided skilled nursing care to residents in the region.

Rice Fergus Miller, in partnership with GSI, is developing a master plan to guide McKay’s future. Through in-depth studies and close collaboration with staff and residents, our team is evaluating renovation, new construction, and phased development options to transition the facility to a more sustainable model while continuing to provide essential care.

By honoring its past and planning for its future, McKay Healthcare will remain a vital part of the community for generations to come.
