Pacific Building Mile Hill Shelter

Owned by Kitsap County and operated by Kitsap Rescue Mission, this 18,000-square-foot shelter provides a safe and supportive space for up to 75 guests. Designed to foster dignity and stability, the facility offers open-concept congregate sleeping areas for men, women, and couples, as well as a dedicated family sleep room. To ensure all guests are accommodated, the shelter includes on-site kennels, including an isolation kennel, with volunteer veterinary care available.

The renovated former fitness gym features a full commercial kitchen and dining area, counseling and professional development services, and access to a mobile medical van offering basic dental and primary care. Extensive tenant improvements include all-new MEPF systems to support the facility’s expanded functions.
